Netflix and chill? More like quarantine and design a new website
Welcome to our new website! Now you know what I've been up to for the last few months. There is is nothing like a forced vacation to kick your butt into action.
Winter is the busiest season for massage therapists. Which is awesome, I love to be busy! Before we all got put in quarantine I was working 6-7 days a week, seeing friends and family, and procrastinating all of my behind the scenes business work. I had a beautiful vacation planned where I was going to explore, spend time with family, and probably get burnt. Then like the rest of the world, I was stuck at home with no warning. No working, no vacation, no friends and family.

So, what did I do to keep myself busy? This was my first week back to work, and everyone has asked me this question. I started off being super productive by getting a new logo (Thank you to Design Crowd for being amazing, and my brother-in-law for suggesting them). That's where the productivity stopped for a while.
I went for walks around the neighborhood, signed up for a million webinars, watched Netflix, baked and ate way too much food.
I knew that once I got back to work I would be busy and I wanted to enjoy the time off. Then the weeks kept passing and I still wasn't back at work. Like everyone else I wasn't seeing an end in sight but knew I needed to stay positive.
I found out Stage 2 of the reopening was happening on my way down a mountain on a Tuesday afternoon and I was back in the clinic that Friday. It has been exhausting being back to work but I wouldn't change it at all. I love what I do, and I am happy to be done with redesigning the website, designing a logo, and doing SEO. Now I can get back to the best part of my job, seeing patients!
